Bedroom Furniture

Many of Lutyens’s designs for beds were grand and extravagant and we have far more drawings than realised pieces.  The Sir Edwin Bed is a reproduction of the bed he designed for himself on his marriage whilst the Candia Lutyens bed is our simplification of the same thing.  The Queen Mary bed was designed for New Delhi.  The original finials were of praying angels that we have simplified into a dome shape.

The Heathcote bedside table is an original piece from the master bedroom of that house whilst the Rosewood side table is our own development.
