D - End Console Table

Fine side tables of similar design by Sir Edwin Lutyens were made for the private dining room of Viceroy's House in New Delhi in 1928.

These tables designed by Lutyens Furniture Limited retain Lutyens's original proportions, but simplify the carved decoration. Those illustrated are made from walnut and have Carrara marble tops. The tables are available in several configurations and a variety of timbers and stone for the top may be specified.
