Chicken Light

This charming light fitting was designed for the nursery suite in New Delhi by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Hanging from the branches of the fitting are broken egg shells spilling out the light bulbs-the yolks. Each chicken light is hand painted in wood whilst the broken shells are made from ceramic.

The chicken light makes a witty fitting for a kitchen or breakfast room.
