The Spider Room

Case study: A private client had an oval shaped dining room and wanted to maximise the unusual aspect of this space. Using the Spiderback Chair as the central motif we designed an oval table to fit the contours of the room around which we placed the spiderback chairs. The stretchers of the table form a spiders web pattern (see sketch opposite) that is mirrored in the ceiling moulding. The radial veneer pattern of the table is again a subtle echo of the spiders web shape. The Cardinals Hat lights was the obvious lighting choice in order to continue the theme!
