The Lutyens House

Case Study: Illustrated are some preliminary sketches LFL made for a client who purchased a house designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The client wanted the house to have a Lutyens feel without being slavishly so. LFL took floorplans of the rooms and positioned the client's furniture in a way that would complement Sir Edwin's architectural motifs in the context of a family home. Included in the plans are the client's existing contemporary furniture, anticipated antique purchases and pieces potentially to be commissioned from LFL.
